DOULA
Postpartum is a time of enormous change — physically, emotionally, and neurologically. It’s a period that often asks for far more support than we’re taught to expect or request.
As a postpartum doula, my role is to offer calm, steady, non-judgmental support during this tender time. This work is not about fixing, pushing, or “bouncing back.” It’s about helping you feel supported, resourced, and less alone as you adjust to life with a new baby.
What Is Postpartum Doula Support?
Postpartum doula support focuses on caring for you as you recover, rest, and adapt after birth.
Support may include practical help, emotional presence, education, and gentle guidance — all offered in a way that respects your needs, boundaries, and nervous system. There is no one right way to do postpartum, and this work honors that truth.
Care is always guided with choice, consent, and flexibility, allowing support to meet you where you are each day.

A Nervous-System–Centered Approach
The postpartum period is deeply connected to the nervous system. Sleep disruption, hormonal shifts, physical recovery, and emotional change can all impact how safe, steady, or overwhelmed you may feel.
My approach to doula support is rooted in nervous system care — creating environments and experiences that feel calming, supportive, and regulating. This might include slowing things down, offering reassurance, supporting rest, or simply being a steady presence during moments that feel tender or uncertain.
Breath awareness, gentle grounding, and compassionate listening are woven in naturally when helpful — always optional and never forced.
